CONNECTIVITY

Our data logging devices are manufactured in South Africa. We are therefore able to ensure the highest quality products. Rugged and robust, we offer four key data logging options which can accompany your soil moisture probe, depending on your location and needs.
Each of our data logging devices has a 18 month carry in warranty

AquaLink S400:
Solar Powered 2G/4G or LTE-M/NB-IoT Options

It is robust and designed to withstand most weather conditions. The unit is attached to each soil moisture probe and works on cellular technology - 2G/4G or LTE-M/NB-IoT - to automatically transmit data from the probe to soil moisture management software (such as ACWEB).
This option is ideal for farms or production facilities where cellular coverage is stable and direct sunlight is available.

AquaLINK B400:
Battery-Operated 2G/4G or LTE-M/NB-IoT Options

This battery-operated option enables the same benefits as our solar-powered device. The unit is attached to each soil moisture probe and, using cellular technology - 2G/4G or LTE-M/NB-IoT - automatically transmits data from the probe to soil moisture management software (such as ACWEB).
This option is ideal for farms or production facilities where cellular coverage is stable and where direct sunlight is limited.

Bluetooth: Manual Option

At farms or production facilities where cellular reception is a challenge, we are able to provide a Bluetooth connection option. With this option, the soil moisture and temperature data are transmitted from the probe to the cloud by connecting a mobile device (such as a mobile phone or a tablet) with Bluetooth functionality to the Bluetooth module of the probe. Once data is uploaded to the cloud, it can be viewed using soil moisture management software (such as ACWEB).
This option is ideal for remote farms where there is limited to no cellular coverage.

Shuttle: Manual Option

The Shuttle option is similar to that of Bluetooth from an operational point of view. The main difference is that a wireless hand-held logger, called a Shuttle, is used to collect data from the probe instead of a Bluetooth-enabled mobile device. An RF connection is used instead of Bluetooth technology. The Shuttle retains soil moisture and temperature data collected by the operator. To send this data to the cloud, it must be connected to a laptop or desktop with an internet connection. Once data is uploaded to the cloud, it can be viewed using soil moisture management software (such as ACWEB).
This option is ideal for remote farms where there is limited to no cellular coverage.
